Anton Andonov has over 10 years of experience in providing advanced engineering solutions for highly regulated industries as Nuclear, Hydro Power and Oil & Gas. Typical projects cover analysis, design and assessment of safety related nuclear facilities, large dams and industrial buildings for extreme loads as earthquakes, aircraft impact, blast, extreme meteorological events, elevated pressure and temperature. Since 2015 Anton is a Principal Engineer within the Nuclear division of Mott MacDonald Ltd. From 2006 to 2014, Anton acted as a Chief Expert within the Nuclear Power Directorate of Risk Engineering Ltd.(Bulgaria). Anton has over 30 scientific publications and is active member of several international engineering institutions and technical committees. His research interests within SATC are connected with the design of architectural systems for extreme environments, which includes both, facilities for extraplanetary human settlements and terrestrial applications in remote locations and/or harsh conditions.
