- Creates Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta Associated Architects in 1985. Coins the concept of “virtual architecture” in 1980. Starts working on space architecture in 2000. In 2012 he creates the first course on space architecture, at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of USP University of São Paulo, the first in Brazil. Wrote and published four books on space architecture. Co-founder of the Space Art Association, in 2013. Researcher at Fibrenamics, Nanotech Lab, and the Center of Studies on Communication and Society of the University of Minho, in Portugal. Researcher at COLABOR Multidisciplinary Center on Collaborative Research and Digital Languages at USP University of São Paulo. Advisor at NUTAU Nucleus of Research on Technology of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of USP University of São Paulo.
