Regina is with the Space Situational Awareness at DLR Space Administration, working on Europan policy and R&D aspects of infrastructure related to Space Debris and Space Surveillance & Tracking. From 2013 to 2015, she was an Internal Research Fellow and then external consultant at the European Space Agency, based in the Studies & Special Projects Division at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC). Previously, she contributed to human factors, human-rating, safety, and feasibility studies in the European, Russian, and US space sector. Her professional interests in human-technology interaction in high-reliability domains include organizational characteristics and governance of complex large-scale sociotechnical systems; resilience and tacit operational practice; transfer of good practice between different sectors (space, nuclear, polar); and policy of human systems integration including ground segment (operations, control rooms, simulators).
