- Professor of the Dep. Architecture (2001-p.), Head and prof. of the Master Course in Colour in Architecture (2002-p.) of the Faculty of Architecture, Lisbon Technical University. Academic activities include post-graduate supervision and professorship in Master Degree in Museology, Lusofona University (2000); MSc in Built Environment Evaluation for Sustainability, University of Salford (2001); MA in Design, FA-LTU (2002-p). Assistant prof., vice director of Diploma (5yrs) in Product and Space Design, Communication Design (Lusofona University, Lisbon, 1998-2000); vice-director of BA(3yrs) in Graphic, Product and Interior Design (Superior Institute of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon, 1994-1998).
- Research: coordinator of the projects developed within the ColourLab of the Faculty of Architecture.
- Vice-President for Portugal of the International Association of Colour Consultants/Designers (2003). President of The Portuguese Colour Association (2005).
