Stephanie Brick, RA, WELL AP, LEED GA, MDS, BArch is a licensed architect specializing in salutogenic design, an evidence-based design strategy/branch of neuroarchitecture to improve human health and well-being in the built environment. She has worked equally in the private and public sectors and, for nearly a decade, was a leading subject matter expert (SME) in the U.S. DoD, blazing the trail for biophilic design strategies with innovative, data-driven, accessible design solutions to reduce stress and improve well-being in highly disconnected interior spaces. She has led innovation pilots, authored global guidelines, and lectured to nearly a hundred government organizations on how to lower stress and improve well-being using architectural design, including NASA, Johnson Space Center, on the critical importance of salutogenic design for long-term space habitation and the future colonization of humans off-Earth. Ms. Brick is based in the greater Washington DC area and is the founder of Salutogenic Design & Consulting Group.
