Dr. 朱哲伦 (ZHU Zhelun)
BACKGROUND
Dr. 朱哲伦 (ZHU Zhelun) holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome and is currently an Assistant Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He is a licensed Professional Building Engineer in Italy and serves as a member of the Aerospace Committee within the Engineers Association of Rome.
His research and teaching focus on the expansion of architectural boundaries into extreme environments—including the design of sustainable habitats for extraterrestrial settlements. In addition, Dr. Zhu is interested in exploring the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. A key area of his work involves leveraging parametric and generative design to address complex architectural challenges.
